                      Rhetorical Analysis Of a lab Report 

Title : 

Lab 1.  Modern Supercapacitors Technologies and Their Applicability in Mature Electrical Engineering Applications   

Lab 2.  NEW GENERATION OF CABLE SCREW CONNECTORS FOR ELECTRICAL POWER ENGINEERING SYSTEMS 

  Abstract

         There are two labs that are been represented above which are both engineering lab reports, the reports are  about electrical systems and elements that are to be used in a technology and electrical system. The first lab above is about supercapacitors that stores a lot of energy that helps technology equipment’s to function properly, in this lab it will present the different types of supercapacitors and how they function. It will also show the equation that are needed including the calculations and the materials that are needed for the lab.

      The second lab is about power cable screw connectors for electrical systems which are made from either metal, copper and  aluminum. The lab in this section is mostly about how to get the right reliable screw or bolt for electrical system to function safely this would show evidence and graphics to show what are the reliable bolts for an electrical power system to function properly.

For the two lab reports shown have the same goal which is to present things that are to be learn in electrical engineering which capacitors are involved in so as electrical bolts that help control electrical systems to flow as normal it can, that also goes to capacitors which would help the electrical power to function properly and give the amount of electrical energy to function.

 Introduction

        Engineering labs is always about either electronics or electrical systems which includes calculations and other source of equipment and equations that would involve in it. The two labs are both about elements that to be used to help function electric power or an electronic. The first lab called modern supercapacitors technology is about an element that controls max of electric power flowing into a circuit which would help electronics to function properly and limit the amount of electric power flowing into the circuit. These capacitors are used in electric cars and other products that use battery instead of electricity which is called DC (Direct of Current). With this lab report many graphs are showed how capacitors are to be used.

     The second lab report is about a specific screw bolt that is used for electricity cables which the element that is made if aluminum that could help engineers function their electrical systems as known when it comes to electrical systems it usually needs tools and equipment’s that would hep it to function as needed.

Methods and materials

       The methods that are used in the two labs are basic calculations with the first lab that has super capacitors is to be calculated with the number of volts needed for the technology to function, that includes cellphones, electric cars and anything that is to be charged which is a DC Volt system. The capacitors depend on the temperature that is used to control the electronics.

  With lab # 2 the electric bolts are to be determined with the amount of electric power used on the electric wires. The type of metal used on the bolt will determine the amount of electric power It could take for example copper and aluminum are the main bolts to be calculated. Generally, the bolt would tell the amount of electrical power cable it could handle when it’s installed.

       Both lab reports come with elements which are supercapacitor and electric bolt. They both comes with their own calculations and chart information to show how much a little amount of a supercapacitor or a electric bolt can handle for it to function as expected.

Results

      With the results of the lab reports it shows the calculation of the elements and the amount of temperature it could handle for either the capacitor to function or the electric bolt to keep the electric power cable to keep the amount of power needed for it to keep working. The two labs are all about the calculation of the amount of power that either a capacitor or a electric cable bolt could take, depending on the amount of power exist for it to function safely. With the electric power cable bolt, it shows the number of elements needed which are Aluminum, copper, magnesium which are all metals combined. The power connecter bolt lab shows the amount of temperature a small bolt could handle, which shows that not only the bolts matter when it’s connected to a power cable but the amount of heat that the bolt could handle for it to cause no harm. Sizes does matter in the case because if the power connector cable bolt is smaller than the power cable it wouldn’t be able to handle the amount of heat that would flow through it.

       The results on lab 1 a stabilizer system was used to create a graph of how a super capacitor works on a battery which is a DC voltage power, these power products are mostly for electric cars and other electronics that are rechargeable to use. With the results of a supercapacitor a car engine was needed to see how the current would flow when the engine is ignited. As seen on the resulted graph it’s see that the beginning of the engine starting it to a high amount of power then after a certain while it tented to be stabilized, that shows that the super capacitor was able to control the amount of power flowing into the engine for it to functionate properly.

Discussion

     The two labs are presented to show how much a small element could be so much important and could take a big role in a system of operation. With lab 1, you’ll see that not only a supercapacitor is the only element as a capacitor, but you have other different kinds of capacitors that could do the same the role of a super capacitor, but it depends on the amount needed for an electric system to functioned safely.

         With lab 2, it also has all kinds of bolt electric power connectors that can be used in a electric power system. The most important is the amount of power is used on a bolt that could help function the system safely.

      Conclusion

      The labs are both Electrical Engineering work which are shown to inform how a supercapacitor and an electric power cable bolt takes a great role in electronics. With super capacitor it tends to control the amount of electric power flowing, without this element many electronics today would’ve not last longer than expected the lab shows how it was it was tested and made It understood how to know the types of capacitors existed and what are they made of

      With the cable screw connectors, its goal is to help the electrical power system to function properly without any complication. The bolts are made from conductors which are metals, those metals are to be known as aluminum and copper. With the lab it shows the importance of the newly bolt invented and how safe it will be for engineers to use it when dealing with electrical power systems. In the lab report it has shown the sizes for each bolt and the amount of temperature of heat it could maintain.

Self-Reflection:

           The lab reports that I was working on are related to my Engineering studies. the labs had showed me certain parts that I would be working on as an Electrical Engineer, the labs that I chose are mainly about powering systems on a certain machine, which are supercapacitors and electrical powering cable bolt. This lab report that I am writing about is the things that I will be studying in the future. These are certain things that are involved in the courses that I must take, and it has a lot of key points that I have found to understand ahead of time, when it comes to capacitors, I didn’t know there were different types of capacitors that existed. What I thought was that a capacitor is just only one individual element that supplies every single electrical system in a machine or in a circuit. Capacitors have now been clear to me on where is to be used and what huge role it plays in certain electrical things. Super capacitors mentioned in the lab report are to be something that controls the electrical power that is flowing into the system, with this lab report it showed me how to understand that without these little elements around the circuit it could not functioned and if it did it wouldn’t last a second because it would blow out immediately.    

       The second part of the lab report is the electrical power bolt connector. After reading over this lab, I came to understand that bolt connectors are important and to be the most important thing to work on an electrical system. When you hear about electricity it’s mostly about the safety of using it and monitoring it at the same time these bolt connectors that are mentioned are to be the most important thing to know about. Every day there’s a new search about the safety of electrical power is either how can people minimize the usage of it or how can engineers improve on their work with equipment’s and materials. Working on these two lab reports help me to know a lot about how Electrical Engineers put on a lot of work and pressure to make things possible and normal, this is the reason why I choose to be an Electrical Engineer because of the hard work that’s put in and realizing new things and new studies about electrical systems and electronics. With this research about super capacitors and electrical power bolts were something that I would like to study more in the future. Writing about two lab reports which should include the eight elements was kind of confusing, in the lab reports they didn’t really have the elements in order. One of the lab reports would have conclusions and an introduction while the other lab report won’t have results and calculations it’s all mixed up in one lab report. I did enjoy a little on writing on both labs but I wish I would’ve improve more on giving information from the lab reports, it wasn’t that easy to put together.
